In this video for Empress Of’s stunning new track Standard. Lorely aka Empress Of was keen to challenge perceptions of body image. This is when the idea of Lorely vs Rob - our body builder was born. I was so impressed with Robs strength and Lorely’s perseverance on set to make this concept a reality. The logistical challenge for Lorely to sing upside down while being dangled in the air by Rob was very rewarding to see work. Lorely’s practice really payed off as she managed to lip sync the whole track on a few takes despite all the blood rushing to her head. It was a truly exciting project to be part of and I was grateful for everyones hard work and my amazing team.
