Dove Lake, Cradle Mountain, Tasmania Deleting a few old images and re importing them with hopefully a better result through some new techniques in post processing. Its hard looking back on images I have uploaded compared to what they look like now........wont need to shoot any new images for a year there are so many bad edits on my Hard Drive and on here! via 500px http://bit.ly/1FoLl3L

FOR JEFF by hillsee
In memory and honour of Jeff Swanson, an immensely talented landscape photographer. Jeff's life was cut tragically short by melanoma ~ in his words 'this nasty, as yet incurable disease.' It is to also to further his desire to raise money to combat melanoma, memorial page set up in Jeff’s honor http://bit.ly/1hqNtlP via 500px http://bit.ly/1JsDzrw

Oberon Vs The Mountain by Dylken
Western Arthurs, Tasmania. This is the view I had to put up with for 5 days while photographing Lake Oberon and Mt Pegasus (You can see our red tents and campsite by the lake). I hope you guys aren't sick of seeing this scene yet, as I still have a few more shots from here to show. Looks better on a black background. For those interested in the technical info this is a blend of 6 exposures. 3 bracketed shots at f/22 for the sunstar and another 3 bracketed shots at f/11 with my finger blocking the sun for a sharp, flare free image. via 500px http://bit.ly/1aCNGzM

Prince Oberon by Dylken
Lake Oberon, Western Arthurs, Tasmania. Taken during an 8 day hike through the Western Arthurs, some of the most spectacular scenery in Australia. Blend of 4 exposures for dynamic range and a final exposure of me posing on the rock. Thanks to Gavin Owen for triggering the shutter for the final exposure of me. via 500px http://bit.ly/1FsgJjI

Jurassic World by Dylken
Lake Oberon, Western Arthur's, Tasmania. After spending 5 nights camped by this lake and climbing up and down to this exact spot 10 times for sunrise and sunset these are the best conditions I got and my favourite shot from the 8 day hike. via 500px http://bit.ly/1GbdFtG

Lake Oberon, Western Arthurs - Tasmania by Crispy_Scapes
I've finally returned from such an incredible adventure and even after spending over two weeks in the Tasmanian wilderness, I already miss it! We were so fortunate to get the most incredible weather for pretty much the whole two weeks and see some truly incredible landscapes in stunning light. I've got so many images to process! I cannot wait to start processing some of my images of Mt Anne but for now I couldn't resist doing a quick process of an image taken at sunrise looking down at Lake Oberon where our base camp was for five days (you can see two red tents near the lake). Cheers Crispy www.crispyscapes.com via 500px http://bit.ly/1EDH5zD
