Despite being rejected by her church and family, Monica found support through her local LGBTQ community and now is a proud, confident person with a bright future. Monica’s Story is part OC87 Recovery Diaries, an interactive website that features stories of mental health, empowerment, and change, created by and for those whose journeys of recovery speak to audiences from all walks of life.
