In June 2018, professional surfers Arthur Bourbon and Damien Castera travelled to Africa in order to make a documentary film about Liberia. They went there to witness the history of the first surfing community in this country, devastated by 15 years of civil war. Here is a short film introducing their journey. A feature-length documentary is currently being edited and will be available in early 2019. Choose subtitles by clicking on the CC button. Special thanks to BCUC for the music. We used the track “MOYA” from their album EMAKHOSINI. Panic attacks are roiling, dizzying paroxysms of pure terror: nauseating, sweaty, heart-thumping, existential ordeals made even worse because some part of the mind understands there’s nothing, really, to fear. In this richly colored, highly personal short film, filmmaker Sindha Agha explains how she “lost track” of what she should actually be afraid of, and how she brought herself back to reality—with the help of an unlikely spirit animal. I love you, Boston! This timelapse and drone video contains my favorite shots after filming Boston for 5 years. This video was a labor of love involving many cold rooftop nights and hot summer days. My intention was to make a video that inspires my fellow Bostonians to love their city as much as I do! I hope you enjoy it. FURY by Stefano Lentini | Release date: 16 November 2018 PREORDER OCTOBER 19TH iTunes: https://apple.co/2ArfuXg… Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2CAjdDr… A PMCE orchestra holding a veiled oriental touch is twisted by acoustic instrumentation. Elegant styled guitars get hurtling towards angry, crushing drums. Piano of Gilda Buttà (The Legend of 1900 and The Untouchables). Fury by Stefano Lentini is an alternative-classic project with a symphonic prominence, prog-electronic and folk influences. The instrumental concept album finds its roots in the exploration of anger as an oft-neglected feeling and the search of its meaning. Fury is a journey through the universe of human emotions, symbolized by the stunning complexity of cosmos and its savage celestial bodies. Willcox, Arizona is a country music town that isn’t what it used to be. The town has a single radio station, run by one employee who lives at the studio, and is seen as an outcast by many of the townspeople. This unlikely champion of country music has a troubled history with the music that he plays every day. But he’s keeping it alive for the old folks, and looking for redemption over the airwaves. Sadly, as of October 2018, KHIL has been taken off the air. It is unclear what the new owners intend to do with the station.
